Last week was the letter "Rr" so we made rocket ships. we have also been learning about the sun and our solar system so it was a nice time to talk about rocket ships going to space.
The children had to plan what their rocket ship was going to look like, then they had to find the boxes they were going to use. They then had to craft it together and decorate it. It took a long time to dry, in fact some are still drying at school.

ReplyDeleteNo we don't have a uniform, we can come to school in any clothes. This week we have had to wear gumboots because of all the snow. Some of us bring our slippers to wear in the classroom, even Mrs L has been wearing slippers.
We think your rockets look cool, we liked how they were all different sizes. They were good and colourful.
We still have lots of snow at our school. The snow was so heavy it has made lots of our trees fall down and we have had men here yesterday and today cutting down and fixing the trees.
We made bookmarks today in Discovery Time and we had to make real tassels for them, they were tricky, very tricky. Max's mum came and taught us how to make them.
